New Beginning Lodge has always believed in giving
back to the community from the moment it was organized
in September 1999 till the present day. Some of our
first community service acts were working with Interfaith
Hospitality House, a home for battered women with
children. We did a clothes, a coat, and a back to
school drive with Interfaith in 1999 and 2000. We
did a can drive with the Western Area YMCA and donated
$1000 to their Teach One Reach One program in 2001.
We gave turkeys and all the trimings to nine needy
families in the Birmingham area during Thanksgiving
2000. That same year New Beginning also participated
in 95.7 Jamz radio station can good drive. We also
support to the Princeton Raiders Little League Football
Team and the Jimmy Hale Mission.
We are currently working with the Salvation Army
on the Angel Tree for Christmas 2003. Giving back
is very important to our lodge we feel it is one of
the primary reasons we exist and one of the tenets
we hold near and dear to us. These are just some of
the ways we have started to give back with more to
come.
